The Arthur Ashe Student Health and Wellness Center (The Ashe Center) is devoted to providing quality, accessible, state-of-the-art healthcare and education to support the unique development of all UCLA students.

Behavioral Wellness Center 

The Behavioral Wellness Center is committed to ensuring that you remain mentally healthy while completing your training program with the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA.

The BWC is committed to practicing in a way that recognizes how racial, political, cultural, and spiritual processes operate on implicit, explicit, institutional, and individual levels to impact minoritized populations, populations of color, and LGBTQ communities’ experiences. Behavioral Wellness Center staff at David Geffen School of Medicine are comprised of professionals from diverse cultures and backgrounds. Our clinicians have experience with mental health issues, and offer expertise in a variety of modalities to improve well-being.

Black Bruin Resource Center 

The BBRC is a welcoming space dedicated to building connections, celebrating culture, and empowering UCLA students through education and collaboration. We create inclusive programs that promote student development, nurture passions, and bring unity through community. By supporting student transitions and inspiring future Bruins, we aim to cultivate a vibrant and united campus community where every student feels seen, valued, and supported.

Bruin Resource Center 

At the Bruin Resource Center (BRC), we are committed to nurturing an inclusive, supportive environment for all UCLA students, with specialized programs and resources that uplift students from resilient communities—including foster youth, parenting students, those impacted by incarceration, students experiencing houselessness, students in recovery, and undocumented students or students from mixed-status families.

We provide comprehensive support through personalized guidance, meaningful referrals, and empowering community connections, ensuring every Bruin thrives academically, socially, and personally.

Campus Assault Resources and Education (CARE) Program 

CARE operates from an anti-oppression framework and is committed to the eradication of sexual and gender-based violence through creating and sustaining a safe, healthy, equitable community for all people.

Career Center 

The UCLA Career Center services to help you explore career pathways, create competitive resumes, develop interviewing and networking skills, find and apply for internships and jobs, consider graduate school, and more. We also offer opportunities to connect with employers, such as career fairs, networking events, information sessions, on-campus interviewing, as well as job and internship listings.

Center for Accessible Education (CAE) 

The mission of the Center for Accessible Education (CAE) is to create an accessible, inclusive, and supportive learning environment. Collaborating closely with faculty, staff, and students, we facilitate necessary accommodations, advocate for disability awareness, and serve as a key educational resource, empowering students with disabilities to achieve their highest academic potential.

Consultation & Response Team (CRT) 

Case Managers are available to assist students struggling with mental or physical health, facing an unexpected challenge or crisis, or experiencing a personal loss. They can support students by exploring options, identifying on-campus resources, and helping students to create a plan for their next steps. Case Managers typically meet with a student one to four times in person and can check-in with a student via email/phone periodically throughout the academic year.

Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) 

Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) is here to support your mental health needs as you pursue your academic goals. Our services are designed to foster the development of healthy well-being necessary for success in a complex global environment.

Division of Graduate Education 

The Division of Graduate Education is responsible for the overall quality and progress of graduate education at UCLA. The Division of Graduate Education serves as the administrative core for graduate recruitment and admissions.

Academic Case Management 

Academic Case Managers assist students in addressing a diverse range of academic challenges. We achieve this by offering consultations and by referring students to the appropriate resources. These challenges can encompass academic difficulties, communication issues, and interpersonal conflicts. As Academic Case Managers, we serve as reliable references for both students and departments, guiding them towards solutions and success.

Economic Crisis Response Team 

The Economic Crisis Response Team (ECRT) is a multidisciplinary, interdependent network of campus partners dedicated to providing holistic support to students experiencing financial distress. Our mission is to respond to student financial crises with urgency, compassion, and accountability. By working collaboratively across departments, we ensure that students receive seamless, individualized support—connecting them to the resources they need to overcome immediate challenges and achieve long-term stability and success.

Financial Wellness 

The mission of UCLA’s Financial Wellness is to empower all Bruins to confidently navigate their finances in a way that supports their overall well-being. This program fosters financial literacy skills through workshops, coaching and online educational efforts. Additionally, we aim to encourage students to know who, when and why to ask for help. Overall, the program centralizes and advocates for student economic support services on campus.

Graduate Student Resource Center 

The Graduate Student Resource Center (GSRC) is dedicated to supporting all UCLA Graduate and Professional students throughout their academic journey. We offer a wide range of quarterly workshops, share valuable programs from campus partners, collaborate with student organizations and departments, and serve as a referral hub to connect graduate and professional students with comprehensive resources. Our goal is to provide holistic support that empowers graduate and professional students to thrive both academically and personally.

Graduate Writing Center 

The Graduate Writing Center is an initiative of the Graduate Students Association, funded by a GSA fee referendum, managed by Student Affairs, and overseen by the Graduate Writing Center Oversight Committee. The Graduate Writing Center came about as the result of a fee referendum, initiated by the Graduate Students Association and approved by the graduate student body in Spring of 2006.

LGBTQ Campus Resource Center 

The UCLA Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender and Queer (LGBTQ) Campus Resource Center supports students and employees of all genders and sexual and romantic orientations through community-building events, resources, counseling, outreach, training, consultation and advocacy. We approach our work through holistic, intersectional, and social justice frameworks that honor and empower individuals at their many identities and lived experiences including but not limited to race, ethnicity, immigration status, ability, religion, and class.

Office of Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) 

UCLA’s Office of Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) leads and advances strategies for enhancing equity, diversity and inclusion; protecting civil rights; and upholding dignity for all in our community.

ADA/504 Compliance Office 

The UCLA ADA/504 Compliance Office leads and administers all aspects of compliance throughout the UCLA and UCLA Health community with federal and state disability laws, as well as University policies and procedures pertaining to protections for students and employees with disabilities.

Title IX Office 

Title IX prohibits sex or gender discrimination in any education program or activity receiving federal financial assistance. The Title IX Office receives reports of gender discrimination, including allegations of sexual harassment and sexual violence.

Office of Ombuds Services 

The Office of Ombuds Services is a place where members of the UCLA community–students, faculty, staff and administrators–can go for assistance in resolving conflicts, disputes or complaints on an informal basis. In order to afford visitors the greatest freedom in using its services, the Office is independent, neutral and confidential.

Recreation

Reflecting the varied leisure and wellness needs of the University community, UCLA Recreation provides extensive access to a broad range of recreational activities and services. The Department offers programming which encompasses the competitive, passive, social, cultural, and instructional aspects of recreational activity. In addition, UCLA Recreation manages 14 of the University’s recreational and athletic facilities offering recreation, sport, and numerous multi-use options for student and university events.

Most UCLA students, through their tuition and fees, have access to recreation facilities and may purchase additional services. All other campus affiliates are eligible to purchase a membership for access to our many programs and facilities.

BruinAlert 

BruinALERT is UCLA’s public alert & warning system, used to distribute emergency notifications to the campus community. A BruinALERT emergency notification is primarily used in an emergency to notify the UCLA campus community of a dangerous situation and/or immediate threat to their health or safety.

NotifyLA 

The City of Los Angeles uses NotifyLA to send emergency alerts via phone, email, or text. Subscribe to stay informed about emergencies in your neighborhood, schools, businesses, and other important locations to you.

Alert LA County 

Alert LA County is an opt-in mass notification program utilized by the County of Los Angeles that allows individuals to receive emergency alerts by text, email and/or phone call. Alert LA County has accessibility features for people with disabilities and others with access and functional needs. Once registered, add the Alert LA County telephone numbers to your contacts.

Student Accounts 

UCLA Student Accounts oversees billing and collections for all student and various non-student accounts for the campus. We offer a variety of services, including customer service and support to billing customers via phone, email and in-person; billing and collections for all student registration fees, campus charges including Housing fees; billing and collections for various non-student and sponsorship accounts; disbursement oversight including refunds with approved disbursement amounts by Financial Aid; management of 1098-T tax reporting.

Student Legal Services 

The mission of Student Legal Services is to prevent, ameliorate, or resolve legal problems that confront students by providing professional legal counseling and assistance. Student Legal Services also seeks to educate students about their legal rights and responsibilities through informational programs and materials, as well as individual counseling.

Students with Dependents 

The Students with Dependents (SwD) Program within the Bruin Resource Center offers support to UCLA undergraduate, graduate, and professional students who have taken on the role of parent, guardian, or caregiver and have continued their academic careers. Through partnerships with parenting student organizations at UCLA, the SwD Program can direct students with dependents to organizations and resources that would support scholars and their families throughout their educational journey.

Transportation

UCLA Transportation provides programs and information to UCLA students and employees regarding sustainable commute options, parking services, fleet services, and transit operations.

Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) at UCLA 

VITA at UCLA is a student organization that provides free federal and state income tax filing services to low-to-moderate income, disabled, and elderly individuals in the Los Angeles community. All VITA volunteers must take and pass tax law training that meets or exceeds IRS standards.
